Dinner
Enjoying my simple cooked Braised canned 扣肉 Kou Rou (Stewed Pork Belly) which I used 1 can, 2 medium sized Cucumber and 150g Beehoon (Rice Vermicelli).
I added a little Dark Soya Sauce to give some extra colour, a little Oyster Sauce and Light Soya Sauce and 1 tsp Sugar to add to flavour.
My new combination but surprising it tastes good. This serves 2 pax. My Samurai also agrees and has 3 servings.

Taking a break
Came to Vivo City to fill up my trolley of cooking ingredients. Now taking a rest in the Food Court drinking coffee.
Lunch
Bought Malay Rice home from the basement Food Court of Vivo City as lunch. EXPENSIVE! Just rice, Eggplant and Sambal Sotong. Not worthwhile at all.

Supplements
I finished the all 2 bottles Ganoderma Spores Powder and today starts the Spores Oil to build up my immunity. Thanks to my friend who blessed me with these when I was unwell 2 months ago.

Brewing Soup
Brewing a pot of yummy Watercress Soup as lunch. My kitchen smells so fragrant!
Watercress Soup
Using 1 bundle of Watercress to boil my favourite soup.
I boil 1 thumb sized Ginger (sliced to pieces), 1 giant Roast Turkey Drum Stick, 4 Dried Scallops, 2 Honey Dates and fill up my VISION Glass Pot with 14 cups water and bring to rapid boil with Watercress.
Then lower heat to simmer boil for 1 hour. Lastly add in Himalayan Pink Salt to taste. A yummy soup for us this lunch.

Breakfast
Bought a slab of Chinese Steamed Pumpkin Cake with Red Dates and Raisins toppings from a Chinese Stall in Peoples’ Park Complex at S$2/-. I cut into slices and store in the freezer.
Took out 1 slice, spread with Butter and toast it with a slice of Cheese as my breakfast paired up with a cup of Nescafe Gold and Full Cream Milk without Sugar to start my day. Good match.

Was at CLEMENT DENTAL for my dental appointment today. A very good doctor I highly recommend.

A smart solution
Some weeks ago my 4.5L VISION Glass Pot’s cover was broken due to incorrect handling. Was searching for replacements from several shops but couldn’t find locally.
Today I am using my Silicone Spill Free Cover which I bought 3 years ago. It works fantastically. The overflown liquid is caught on the lid instead of overflowing over the cooking surface.
