After a Heavy Dinner…
Walao, weighed myself, put on 700g after last night’s excessive eating of 30 dishes for 7 of us in a Chinese Restaurant’s Buffet Ala Carte dinner. Gave our contractors a treat in appreciating they did a good job repairing our rooftop garden. Got to unload the 700g which I piled up. I can do it with my EH.LH Eat Happy Live Healthy program I set up. Just you wait while I “Jia You” 加油! CATherina, gambatte neh!
EH.LH Meal 1
I take full responsibility of my good health. Yes, after last night’s excessive dining in a Chinese restaurant enjoying 30 dishes picked from the Buffet Ala Carte menu, I took up the challenge of losing the haunty 700 g I put on just over a meal!
Back to my EH.LH Eat Happy Live Healthy program I developed. I don’t skip my 3 meals. 1st meal today: 1 New Zealand Gala Apple, Own brew Chrysanthemum Tea served in my CAT Tea Cup WITHOUT SUGAR. Treat myself well with nice happy lifestyle.
EH.LH Meal 2
Taking up the challenge of Eating Happy Living Healthy EH.LH.
My Meal 2 today: Taukwa (豆干) “STEAK” with boiled Carrot Shreds, Fresh Shiitake Mushrooms, Okra topped with Japanese Red Fukujintsuke (pickled radish).
Just season 4 Taukwa 豆干 (Soy Bean Cakes) with some Himalayan Pink Salt both sides, pan fried in a non stick fry pan till both sides become golden. Drop in shredded Carrots from 2 small Carrots, 4 Fresh Shiitake (Sliced) and 10 Okra (cut to smaller pieces).
Cover with lid and over slow heat cook for 5 mins till all veggies are cooked. Add in 4 TBS *Mizkan Brand YuzuPon (Citrus flavoured Soy Sauce), off heat and do plating.
Topped and garnish with a little Japanese Red Fukujintsuke (pickled Radish). This portion serves 2 person. An No Oil No Sugar & No Carbo meal.

EH.LH Meal 3
Always take your fruit before meal NOT after meal. I had a crunchy juicy Tiantsin Pear to start my meal. Then who said if on a Diet Journey not supposed to have KFC Fried Chicken? I will show you how I include it in my EH.LH Eat Happy Live Healthy Meal.
First I took out a piece of KFC Fried Chicken which I kept in my fridge. Put it in a non stick Fry pan together with 1/3 cup of water, cover with lid and on the heat of my stove, cook till all the water has dried up. The KFC Chicken is ready to serve with my plate of Sambal Belachan flavoured Sweet Potato Leaves.
My friend Ah Bee had blessed me with a bunch (around 700g) of Sweet Potato Leaves she harvested from her own nursery. I rinsed and pluck the leaves from the young stems.
Put all in a non stick fry pan without any oil. Turn on the heat high.
Mix 1 1/2 tsp of store bought SINGLONG Brand Sambal Belachan Paste, 1/2 tsp of ILite Brand Stevia (which is Sugar replacement and has 40% less in calories) with 1/4 cup of water. Pour this mixture over the Sweet Potato Leaves, cover with lid and cook till veggies are done. Open lid and toss well.
Serve the KFC Fried Chicken on top. I need no carbo tonight. Am eating a yummy nutritious meal.
This is my 3rd meal on my challenge of shedding off the 700g weight which I put on one day ago by excessive eating in a Chinese restaurant.
I know I can win the challenge! Trust me, because I know how to cook correctly & eat properly.

Weighed myself this morning. Excitingly reporting to all that I have won the challenge I set yesterday to shed off the haunty 700g I put on 1 day ago due to excessive dining in a Chinese restaurant by following EH.LH Eat Happy Live Healthy meal plans I developed.
Continue with my Health Maintaining journey today. I made a hot drink by pouring hot boiling water over 2 TBS Dried Hawthorn 山楂, steep to make a Hawthorn Drink.
Next I cook 4 TBS Oatmeal in 1 cup Full Cream Milk, add in 1 tsp ILite brand Stevia, (Sugar Replacement with 40% lesser in calories) and 1 TBS dried Goji Berries.
Off heat immediately when Oatmeal is cooked. This is my 1st meal of the day. Enjoying my healthy breakfast and bearing in mind dropping weight is not my first concern, but maintaining my good health is.

Dined out at our neighbourhood coffee shop
Dined out at our neighbourhood coffee shop. Still choose the dishes and ordered mindfully. Both of us had Spinach Meat Balls Soup, Clams on Spicy Sauce, Braised Soy Sticks in Soya Sauce, Mala dish with assorted veggies and Tofu sprinkled with peanuts. Happy with the selections.
