Lunch
Today is Day 41 on Singapore’s Circuit Breaker Mode, 16 May 2020. Enjoying my favourite MYOJO Brand Tanmen 汤面 topped with Pan fried Japanese Leek, Fresh Shiitake Mushrooms, Shrimps, Imitation Crab Sticks with Egg Yolk, garnished with Coriander Leaves. Simple and yummy. Blessed day everyone.

Breakfast
Indulging on my Cheese Toasted Bread with a spread of Strawberry Jam and Butter. Also enjoying a bowl of Yoghurt with Fresh Pear and Cranberries. Sweet meal to start my day. Blessed Sunday to all.

Tea Break
Craving for Fruit Rojak, a typical South East Asian Fruit Salad which all South East Asians are familiar with.
So I cut 1 Pear, core it and remove skin and cut to small dices. Than I took out You Chia Kueh (“You Tiao” in Chinese Or Fried Dough Stick) from my freezer to toast and snipped by scissor into slices. After that, I cut 1 Century Egg to wedges and peel 1 mini Tangerine.
Lastly, I toss all ingredients in the Rojak Sauce which I got from Penang, Malaysia and mix with 2 TBS Mizkan brand Kantan’Su (flavoured Vinegar).
A satisfying Rojak is done with limited ingredients I have in my kitchen.

Dinner
We are so blessed to have our good friend Anthony to special deliver the famous Special Claypot Rice from the Wor Peng Restaurant to us for dinner. I put in Claypot and heated up by microwave. We feel your love for us, Anthony.

Breakfast
Created a new savoury pancake using 1 TBS Butter to pan fry Yew Chia Kueh (油条) as a base with 1 layer of beaten Egg mixed with some Mentsuyu and Spicy Sesame Oil to be poured on top of Yew Chia Kueh.
Then scattered some chopped Chives (韭菜) on top, and added 1 egg on top.
When ready transfer to a plate and sprinkle Yuzu Shichimi Togarashi on top of this savoury pancake. I tell you, this combination is so yummy to start my day with a cup of Teh Tarik.

Have a Blessed Week
A new week today. Just did 30 mins gardening work on my Rooftop Garden. My Blue Pea plant is taking a rest from blooming. But with my tender loving care, it will bloom again surely. Came down to my cosy kitchen to enjoy my homemade 2F (2nd fermentation) of Kumquat Goji Berries Kombucha which I harvested on 23 Feb 2020 and has been chilled in the fridge. Tastes refreshing! Have a blessed week everyone.

Breakfast
When I was a young girl I heard from the aunties around that before they gave birth in order to get strength they drink Milo mixed with an Egg inside to bring up their energy.
I tried this morning by cracking an Egg in my cup, pour hot boiling water to fill 1/3 of the cup, covered and steep for 3 mins then add in MILO Gao Siew Tai (less Sugar) Cereal and fill up with hot boiling water.
Ha, ha, ha, not because I am going into Labour Room to give birth but just curious about the taste. No adventure no fun in the kitchen. Surprisingly it tastes good.

Kombucha
Thinking of my good friends Irma & Fanny of The Orange Bakery in Denpasar, Bali. I miss all your cakes and breads. Do you remember this cute Kitty you gave me during Valentine’s Day?
When will I be able to fly to Bali again? Now am drinking my own made 2F (2nd Fermentation) Mandarin Orange Red Grapes Kombucha which I harvested on 6 Feb 2020 and has been chilling in my fridge.
