Blue Pea Flower Drink
Steeping my home grown Blue Pea Flowers to make a healthy drink. I use just 4 flowers and steep in 250ml hot water.
1. The tea is well-known for its anti-ageing benefits, due to its high antioxidant content. This makes the skin look younger and healthier from within.
2. Blue tea is said to be great for the skin, due to its claimed anti-glycation effects, which fight skin ageing.
3. Stress-relieving properties of blue tea are also helpful in overall maintainenace of skin and beauty.
4. The flavonoids present in blue tea may also stimulate collagen production, helping develop and maintain skin elasticity.
5. Blue pea flower is excellent for the hair too, as it contains anthocyanin – a compound known to increase blood circulation in the head and therefore maintain a healthy scalp. It also helps in strengthening the hair follicles from within.

Lunch
Brewing my Chicken Herbal Soup. Later will serve with Mee Suah. The kitchen is now filled with nice aroma.

Just finished eating own cooked lunch at Home Sweet Home. Today we have Brewed Chicken Herbal Tonic Soup with Fried Bee Hoon with Garlic Sprouts in Abalone Sauce. Perfect combination as lunch.

Breakfast
Very healthy breakfast to start our day. Prepared by CATherina Hosoi from her kitchen studio for her loved ones. Please LIKE and SHARE this good recipe.
This is Savoury Oatmeal. First caramelise 1 tsp Minced Onion with a little oil, pour in Veggies Stock. Boil with Oatmeal and stalks of Xiao Bai Cai. Sprinkle in Black Sesame Salt, lastly add in chopped Xiao Bai Cai 小白菜leaves.
To serve with Shoyu pickled Garlic. Mixed Berries Nata de Coco Yogurt Drink and Milk Tea complete the breakfast set. We thank GOD for His blessings.

Rooftop Garden
Happy to see the Bitter gourd Seeds I threw into my white foam box has grown and the vine has entangled with the Ginger plant I grew 3 months back. Read from Google I can use the Ginger Leaf for cooking. There is hope for harvesting the Ginger and Bitter gourd. Stay patient.

Breakfast
Sunday, nothing wrong to start everything late. My 1st meal of the day: 5 Cherries, a cup of Full Cream Milk with 3 TBS *Nestum Multi Grain Cereal without sugar, and 1 mini Char Siew Pao to power up my Sunday.

Blue Pea Flower Drink
Start my day with a drink prepared from my own grown Blue Pea Flowers also known as Butterfly Pea Flower (just use 3) for 200ml hot water. Remove the green parts and steep to get the nice blue color.
Read the benefits of drinking this daily.
In studies to date, Butterfly Pea has shown to act on several key systems of the body:
The Nervous System – Butterfly Pea has a calming effect on the brain
The Digestive System – Butterfly Pea is an antiemetic (anti-nausea), antidypsetic (anti-indigestion), mild-laxative and cholagogue (stimulates flow of bile from liver)
The Circulatory System – Butterfly Pea is a haemostatic (helps stop bleeding) and a blood purifier
