Created a Chicken, Satoimo Yam and Potato Dish tonight using my secret formula’s GEISHA CAT’S SPECIAL GINGER PASTE to cook
Preparation:
I have 5 cuts of Chicken from 1/4 big Chicken, which I marinated with 1 TBS Salt, a few dashes of Pepper and 1 tsp Sugar.
I also remove Skin from 4 big Potatoes, and than cut to halves each. Remove Strings from 200g Sweet Peas.
Next, I pare the skin from 5 Satoimo yam. (also known as 里芋 or taro roots, a starchy root crop that is widely enjoyed in Japanese cuisine)
For seasoning, I will be using 3 TBS GEISHA CAT’s Special Ginger Sauce ( a ginger sauce which I developed but Sorry I won’t be sharing my secret formula) and 1/2 cup Tomato Ketchup.
Cooking:
First, Heat up 1 TBS Oil and 3 TBS GEISHA CAT’s Special Ginger Sauce which comes with oil.
Drop in Chicken pieces to saute, followed by Satoimo Yam and Potatoes. Toss well. Add in 300ml water, cover with lid and bring to a boil.
Turn heat to medium and continue to boil till Satoimo Yam and Potatoes are cooked.
Add in 1/2 cup Tomato Ketchup and Sweet Peas, toss well and off heat when Sweet Peas are cooked.
We enjoyed this dish without rice because Satoimo Yam and Potatoes are enough for our carbohydrate intake for the two of us!
